SEO pricing in Pakistan is opaque — and that opacity benefits sellers, not buyers. The same business, getting roughly the same SEO work, can be quoted PKR 15,000 per month by one vendor and PKR 200,000 per month by another. Both vendors will sound confident. Most clients have no idea which (if either) is fair. This guide is to fix that.
I run the SEO at CodeForge PK and have done SEO work for clients across Quetta, Karachi, Lahore, and internationally. I have also been on the buyer side, evaluating SEO proposals from other Pakistani agencies for companies I was advising. The pricing patterns are consistent. Use this guide to evaluate whatever quote you have in front of you.
Real SEO work has labour costs. Content writers cost money. Link outreach takes time. Technical SEO requires expertise. Below PKR 30,000/month, the only ways to deliver "SEO" are: (a) automated submissions to spam directories, (b) bulk AI-generated content, (c) cheap PBN backlinks from foreign vendors, or (d) just collecting the money and doing nothing. All four hurt your site in the long run. Avoid this tier completely.
At this range, you should get: Google Business Profile setup and weekly posts, basic on-page SEO for existing pages, local citation submissions, 1-2 articles per month, and basic monthly reporting. Suitable for: small local businesses with limited budget where local pack ranking is the primary goal. Not suitable for: businesses that need significant organic search traffic or compete in difficult keyword categories.
The sweet spot for most Pakistani SMEs. At this range: thorough technical SEO audit + ongoing fixes, 3-5 articles per month written by humans, active white-hat link building, advanced on-page optimisation, dedicated keyword tracking, monthly reporting + call to walk through it. Suitable for: established businesses serious about organic growth, e-commerce sites, professional services. Realistic timeline to results: 4-9 months for noticeable ranking gains.
Multi-city expansion campaigns, 8+ articles per month, guest posting on industry publications, digital PR, conversion rate optimisation alongside traffic generation. Suitable for: established e-commerce, SaaS companies, businesses where SEO is a primary revenue driver. Expected ROI: 3-10x retainer cost within 12-18 months for the right businesses; not all businesses get there.

All retainers have 3-month minimum. All include initial audit, GBP management, monthly content, technical fixes, link building (white-hat only), and monthly reporting + call.
For sanity-checking quotes you receive from other vendors, those ranges are typical for the Pakistani market. Quotes significantly higher should come with significantly more deliverables. Quotes significantly lower should be questioned about methods.
